Data protection is very important to us. As such, we commit to making you aware of when and what data we collect, process and the purpose for which it is used.

Legal basis

Data protection legislation (currently Law No. 41/2004, of the 18th August, Law No. 58/2019, of the 8th August, and regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of the 27th April 2016 (hereinafter the GDPR)) ensures the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data and the free movement of such data. "Personal data" is considered any information of any nature and regardless of the means by which it is provided, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. As such, this protection does not cover data relating to legal persons. An identifiable person is one that can be identified directly or indirectly, particularly by means of an identification number or one or more specific elements of their physical, physiological, psychological, economic, cultural, or social identity (e.g. their name in addition to their telephone number or email address).

The legal basis required for the processing of data is consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), entering into a contract to which the data subject is party (art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), compliance with a legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR), or the protection of the legitimate interests pursued by the SIE (art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Transfer of your personal data to third parties

Your data will not be transferred to third parties for advertising purposes, per the legal basis of art 6(1)(a) and (f) of the GDPR.

The data may also be shared for the purposes of complying with legal obligations or responding to any requests from legal authorities.
